Lonnie Lee McQuiston Jr: Lead/Slide Guitar & Vocals; Songwriter

Lonnie was born January 23, 1959 in Madison, Tn. At age 5, he got his first drum set for Christmas. When Lonnie was 10, his father  took him over to see his neighbor Sonny  Garrish (Bill Anderson"s steelguitar player). Lonnie brought 2 of his favorite records Crosby, Stills, Nash,  & Young and Jimmy Hendrix. Sonny Garrish instructed on Lonnie how to play "Purple Haze" and "Almost Cut My Hair." Lonnie got his first electric guitar at 12. By age 15, he was touring the southeast and playing the Nashville club circuit with several different bands including one called "Night Flight" with an Elvis impersonator. During the 1970s he was perfecting and mastering his amazing guitar and vocal skills. During the 1980s he began writing seriously and has compiled an extensive catalog of songs ranging from Southern Rock to Blues to Country. Lonnie says he enjoys playing with Joel, Michael, and Geno  because "we all have the same taste in music and the variety is diverse." Lonnie lives in Hendersonville, Tn. with his beautiful wife of 25yrs, Yvonne, and daughter Thashana.
